The Meningie Cheese Factory Museum is wholly owned and operated by a band of dedicated volunteers. Come and have a wander and spend quality time reflecting on the past. You will probably find things with which you can identify, and remember. Ask your children what a wringer washer is - chances are they won't know so here is your chance to show them! There is also a large collection of farm machinery and vehicles out the back. See the flip flop windmill and the Stripper a family used to sleep in. You'll be amazed at what you will find. The Museum is open every day from 8.30am to 5.00pm except for Good Friday and Christmas Day. Entry is only AUD5.00per person. As the Museum cannot be attended full time, we rely on payment via the honour system.
