Main Beach on North Stradbroke Island (Minjerribah) is aptly named as it stretches 38 kilometres from Point Lookout to the southern end of the island.
Popular for family camping, fishing and great surf breaks, Main Beach is accessible only by four wheel drive vehicle (you will need a vehicle access permit from Minjerribah Camping). There are 200 unpowered sites in 15 separate camping areas at the southern end of the beach. Dogs are allowed, but must be kept on a leash at all times.
